Whether you stumbled upon this exploring the deep recesses of the internet, are a friend of mine, or had this sent to you, I’m excited to get to know and serve you. I’m hoping that this blog will serve you by encouraging and edifying you as you go about your day.

It’s easy to go through life wrapped in our own problems, dreams, struggles, and triumphs, but it’s different when we come together and share that. The goal of this blog is to serve you by encouraging you by pointing to the Truth within the Bible, and issues we can all relate to. 

The most important thing in my life is pleasing God, and I hope that’s reflected in all areas of my life – writing, consuming, and my relationships.

I’ve been writing seriously since I was about 12 in various formats. I started out with a Civil War romance (cliche, I know) and graduated to contemporary spy fiction. After that I dabbled in dystopia for a while, and switched back to contemporary. Currently, I write on this blog, write poetry, and am working on a dystopian novel. 

I have always loved reading, and as I grew older my love of reading expanded into a love of podcasts, music, commentary, and blogs. If you catch me at a good time I could spend quite a while dwelling on my favorite books and the characters in them. If you catch me at an off time, I will also spend a while dwelling on books and characters – but probably my least favorites. 

I’m proud to call myself an older sister, daughter, niece (and other assorted familial connections), friend, and confidante. I’m thankful for these opportunities and relationships in my life, and I hope that I can continue to bless and be blessed by these. 

A few other facts about me:

• I use parentheses an inordinate amount
• I work at Panera Bread (their chocolate chip cookies are amazinggggg)
• I would love to settle on an aesthetic at some point, so if anyone has one they think fits me, let me know!
• Lawn chairs are annoying
• I used to be obsessed with the word ‘seriously’
• I’m notorious for getting way too excited about things 
• I love getting to know new people so drop me an email any time!
